Affordability Calculator

The following calculator allows you to approximately work out your affordability level for purchasing properties. This calculation can be used to determine your affordability for properties through the Help 2 Own scheme. This scheme allows you to purchase an equity share in the property. Find our more about the Help 2 Own scheme here.

DISCLAIMER This is an indicative guide only. It should not be relied on as confirmation of affordability or recommendation to proceed. Please note additional costs may be required with purchasing a home (e.g. deposit, solicitor fees, etc.). The typical equity share provided for low cost home ownership is 30% however this can vary from site to site. If your gross annual outgoings exceed 10% of your gross annual income you will not be able to proceed with purchasing a home. For further information please contact a member of the Help 2 Own team.
