Financial Inclusion Service

Torfaen Council’s Housing Department has a dedicated Financial Inclusion service, which is free of charge to eligible residents who have rent or mortgage arrears that puts their tenancy at risk.

The team work closely with the Council’s Benefits Department, local Housing Associations, the Department for Work and Pensions, Social Services and other Support / Advice Agencies, to support residents to address their financial difficulties and prevent them from losing their home.

We can refer you to Citizens Advice Torfaen, who can support you to organise your benefits, maximise your finances and challenge benefit related decisions.
